Listening to: yeh jo halka halka sooroor hai by NFAK and aao na by Sadhana Sargam .
I feel like sinking into it... over and out! .....budbudbudook….<<<\\sound of bubbles>>>
( this mild intoxication
is due to your eyes,
that taught me drinking )
tere pyaar ne teri chaah ne
teri behki behki nigaah ne
mujhe ek sharaabi bana dia
( your love and your longing
your intoxicating glances
made me a drunkard )
sharaab kaisi khumaar kaisa
ye sab tumhari nawazishein hain
pilayi hai kis nazar se tuune
ke mujhko apni khabar nahin hai
( what wine, what intoxication
all this is your kindness
you served me in such a manner with your eyes
that I do not remember myself )
saara jahaan mast jahaan ka nizaam mast
din mast raat mast sahar mast shaam mast
mast sheesha mast suboo mast jaam mast
hai teri chashm-e-mast se har khaas-o-aam mast
( the whole world is ecstatic, the order of the worl is ecstatic
day is ecstatic, so is dawn and so is evening
glass, cup and wine are all ecstatic
because of your intoxicating eyes, everyone and everything is ecstactic )
ye jo saqi har tarah ki tere maikhaane mein hai
wo bhi thodi si jo in aankhon ke paimaane mein hai
( of all the wines which you have in your wine-house
serve me a little from your eyes )
sab samajhta hun teri ish (??) nazar ai saqi
kaam karti hai nazar naam hai paimaane ka
( I understand all the methods of your glances
they cause intoxication instead of wine )
tera pyaar hai bas meri zindagi
( my life is only your love )
na namaz aati hai mujhko na wuzoo aata hai
sajdaa kar leta hun jab saamne too aata hai
( neither I know prayers not ablutions
I prostate whenever you come in front of me )
main azal se bandaa-e-ishq hun
mujhe zuhd-o-kufr ka gham nahin
mere sar ko dar tera mil gaya
mujhe ab talash-e-haram nahin
( I am a servant of love since the beginning of life
I do not care for piousness or irreligiousness
my head has found your house
now I do not search for the mosque )
meri bandagi hai wo bandagi
jo ba qaid-e-dair-o-haram nahin
mera ik nazar tumhein dekhna
baa Khuda namaz se kam nahin
( my devotion is such devotion
that is not bound by the mosque and the temple
when I sight you once
by God, it is no less than a prayer )
tera pyaar hai bas meri zindagi
( my life is only your love )
qayamat mein tera dagh-e-muhabbat lekar uthuunga
teri tasveer us dam bhi kaleje se lagi hogi
( On the day of judgement, I will rise with the scars of your love
your image will be clinging to my heart on that day too )
kyunki
( because )
tera pyaar hai bas meri zindagi
( my life is only your love )
teri yaad hai meri bandagi
jo teri khushi wo meri khushi
ye mere junoon ka hai moajzaa
jahan apne sar ko jhuka dia
wahan maine Kaaba bana dia
( your rememberance is my prayer
your wish is my wish
this is the miracle of my frenzy
that where ever I prostated
I made a mosque there )
mere baad kisko sataaoge ??
( to whom you will inflict pain after me ?? )
dil jaloN se dil lagi acchi nahin
rone waloN se hansi acchi nahin
dillagi hi dillagi mein dil gaya
( it is not nice to play with the emotions of sufferers
it is not nice to laugh at the mourners
I lost my heart in play )
Oh mere dil gaya dil gaya dil gaya
( my heart is gone, O , gone is my heart )
Khuda ke liye apni nazroN ko roko warna
mera dil gaya dil gaya dil gaya
( for God's sake change your glances, else
my heart is gone, my heart is gone )
meri tarah Khuda kare tera bhi kisi per aaye dil
too bhi kaleja thaam ke kehta phire ke haye dil
( I pray to God that you also fall in love with someone
and you also suffer in separation with hands on your heart )
mera dil gaya dil gaya dil gaya
( my heart is gone, O , gone is my heart )
dillagi hi dillagi mein dil gaya
dil lagaane ka nateeja mil gaya
main to rota hun ke mera dil gaya
tum kyuN hanste ho tumhein kya mil gaya ??
( I lost my heart just in fun
and got the measure of falling in love
though I cry because my heart is lost
why do you cry, what did you get ?? )
accha phir.....
( okay then..... )
mere baad kisko sataaoge ??
mujhe kis tarah se mitaaoge
kahan jaa kar teer chalaoge
meri dosti ki balayein lo
mujhe hath utha kar duaayein do
tumhein ek qaatil bana dia
( to whom you will inflict pain after me ??
how will you remove me from your life
where will you cast those arrow like glances
value my friendship
that helped you to gain killer-instinct )
mujhe dekho khwaish-e-jaan-e-jaaN
main wahi hun Anwar-e-neem jaan
tumhein itna hosh tha jab kahaan
na chalao is tarah tum zubaaN
karo mera shukria meherbaaN
tumhein baat karna sikha dia
( watch here, O desire of the life of my life
I am the same suffering Anwar
you did not even had senses that time
don't argue with me in such a manner
offer thanks to me
that I helped you become well versed in speaking )
ye jo halka halka suroor hai
ye teri nazar ka qusoor hai
ke sharaab peena sikha dia
( this mild intoxication
is due to your eyes,
that taught me drinking )
I hate written exams. They give me a hundred marks paper and make me write for three hours, every morning...for six consecutive days. I hate it more when they scale down that paper, the same one I had written for three long hours, to 40 marks.
Yes, you are right! my exams are on and I feel cheated :(

Out of enthusiasm I decided to try this thing out. What should I write? That was the BIG question because before that point I had not written anything other than my exam papers! (…long back in school I used take notes sometimes though :P). This problem was solved by converting the blog to a closed group (like yahoo). During the same time my graduation friends were planning to start such a group to stay in touch. It was not difficult to convince them who were as enthusiastic to try out this blog thing.
All right then! Just 3 easy steps -
1st step: be a blogger -> registered on blogger
2nd step: get a blog -> created a blog
3rd step: save the world -> started blogging with my fellow saviors :)
After few months of discrete blogging I got the idea of what blog/blogging is all about. You write and publish what you know/think/feel - no restrictions, no publishing cost. Excitement about blogs was over. At that point I came across a good blog - Emergic, discussed articles published here with friends, followed this blog for a few months. I realized I was silently gaining knowledge. In a very unusual way! At a very slow pace but the way was interesting for sure.
One day I was pondering about what is so great about blogging? Its just another tool - you write something and people will read it, comment on it. What is the power that this tool withholds? On 24th Jan this year I got the answer. It's the participation that makes blogging so great. Without participation its just another tool!
On 24th Jan There was a workshop in SCIT on blogging for learning professionals conducted by Parag Shah and Ajay Sanghani. During which I got first-hand info on blogging as a medium for learning, Learning whatever you wish to - from programming languages and management concepts to random thoughts on life. The workshop unleashed the immense potential of blog/blogging for students and professionals.
Few advantages that I see are of blogging are -
Learning experience which we could otherwise get from a live work environment - blogs are written based on experience and first-hand knowledge providing practical inputs. The discussion that follows the post makes us aware of even more real life issues and solutions. I would like to sight example's of Siemens company's Share-Net and Mahindra & Mahindra company's knowledge management system that facilitates knowledge sharing by participation from all classes of employees.
Participating nature of blogs helps in supporting/strengthening weaker elements in the community and encourages the stronger elements to excel as they support the weaker elements - for example, I am very good in programming on .net platform and I write a blog post on how to send email using .net framework. Those who are not aware of this solution will get benefited. Readers may ask me some related queries and the solution provided by any of the participants will again help everyone.
Podcasts/Blogrooms and not classrooms - Online learning using podcasts is gaining so much popularity that very soon we can see the concept of virtual classrooms materialized. Instead of attending a lecture in the classroom students can view the articles/watch podcasts posted on the blog and participate in the discussion by posting comments. This way students and teachers are not required to be present at the same place for learning to happen. My experience of such 'podcast' was in Parag sir's java class where he conducted a lecture early in the morning from remote location over the phone and internet.
Project your skills - it's not possible for anyone to project what he/she is very good at in half an hour of interview. Writing blog will help us project ourselves in the way we wish to and at the same time its easy to self-evaluate and improve our skills in desired area. In my case I think it's definitely easy for me to project my .net skills on the blog than in some interview. I can publish, justify and discuss my solutions with experts in .net and might get appreciation for my work as well. Which definitely will speak more than a structured resume.
Gaining knowledge from the explosion of information/blog feeds - its information everywhere! how will I find exactly what I need - google? Wikipidia? Well, if I have to submit some assignment in few hours and I have not read anything in the whole term may be yes! That’s what I am looking for. But if my purpose is to gain knowledge and not just grades then I have blogs dedicated to what I wish to learn. I could subscribe to them and I will get what interests me, automatically as soon as it is published! Blogs are to be looked at as a medium for continues learning and not as an urgent help on troubleshooting some issue.
Other advantages of blogging could include, improving writing skills, thought process and building reputation in online community. I agree with Jaydeep's point that writing surely makes room in your mind for new thoughts and concepts!
From a guy who was just curious about blogs/blogging, today, I have realized the enormous advantages that blogging offers, I see people benefiting from reading/writing blogs and I have began to leverage them as well. Have you?
Since a long time I was thinking of maintaining a blog. Problem is I am not regular at writing.... rather at anything. To pen down few thoughts that crop up in my other brain at odd hours, I started Gypsy-Tale. This helped me to empty my mind from boggling thoughts which very few of my friends could understand. But I was far away from being a regular at blogging and I can't help it becoz wikipedia says - Gemini's are prone to moodiness, changeability and laziness (Yes, I am a Gemini.)
Due to some events in last few days I have decided to become a (regular :P) blogger. In fact I was in such a high that I had decided to start at least 3-4 blogs of different orientations the other night. Later I settled on my existing blog for random thoughts and starting of a new one for regular writing on topics of my interest.
Very soon this place will be flooded by posts on movies, good food, travelogs, technology I work on and so on…
In India when people move into a new house they perform this ceremony of House Warming. As I am very much attached to my roots and traditions I wish to perform this small ceremony of Blog Warming!
Today I am starting this blog with lot of enthusiasm and I am quite emotional as well.
